Business Development Manager | B2B Partnerships, Central London (hybrid: four days in the office, Friday half day from home)
£45,000 basic, depending on experience
Uncapped commission
Permanent, full-time.
An established, privately owned international B2B business is launching a major new offering and looking for the ideal candidate who can sell it. This is a new role, reporting to a senior commercial lead, with the opportunity to shape how the offering is taken to market from the start. You will win and grow high-value commercial partnerships with senior decision-makers, owning every deal from first conversation to signature.

What is Required to Apply to the Role of Business Development Manager
- A record of closing complex, high-value B2B deals (typically £10k+) against a quota, with roughly 2-3 years' full-cycle experience
- Comfortable generating your own pipeline through calls, email, and LinkedIn
- Excellent communication and writing skills, with the credibility to speak with senior stakeholders
- A self-starter who is comfortable with autonomy
- Commercially minded, with a love of research and knowledge
- Comfortable using AI tools in your daily work
- The right to work in the UK, and a commute that works for the central London office

The Role of Business Development Manager
This is a closing role. You will own the full sales cycle, so if your experience is booking meetings for other people to close, this isn't the right fit. You will:
- Research and identify your own prospects and generate your own pipeline
- Run consultative, SPIN-style discovery conversations with senior marketing, commercial, and executive buyers
- Build intelligent, needs-based proposals and business cases
- Negotiate and close complex, high-value deals
- Work with senior colleagues to create new commercial opportunities
- Build real knowledge of your sector and the relationships that come with it
Desirable
- A strong academic background (a degree, or equivalent degree-level qualification)
- SPIN or other consultative sales training
