About Mam UK

Mam UK is a well-established and much-loved brand in the nursery and baby sector. We work with some of the best-known names in UK retail, including John Lewis, Mamas & Papas, Waitrose, Superdrug, Currys, Booths and Very, alongside a network of UK wholesale partners and select export partners.

We're proud to have been named in the Great Places to Work list in 2025-2026.

The Role

We're looking for an amazing Account Executive to join our small, but mighty team. This is a great opportunity for someone with around a year or two of account executive experience who's looking to build a career with a well-known consumer brand. You'll take day-to-day ownership of a portfolio of retail accounts, working closely with the Head of Sales and wider commercial team to keep those accounts running smoothly, spot opportunities for growth, and build strong, lasting relationships with our retail partners.

This is an account executive role, not a cold-calling position, you'll be looking after and growing relationships with retailers we already work with, and expanding and building those accounts.

Key Responsibilities

Account Leadership & Commercial Delivery

  • Own the P&L performance for assigned accounts: revenue, margin, trade spend and forecast accuracy.
  • Build and execute annual Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with key retailers (e.g., John Lewis, Mamas & Papas).
  • Lead negotiations on terms, ranging, pricing, promotional plans, and distribution to hit sales and profit targets.
  • Manage account critical paths: line reviews, seasonal events, NPD launches, and promotional calendars.
  • Build cross functional relationships across the account and include the HOD in key commercial reviews and buying manager decisions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • Ensure compliance with retailer requirements and brand guidelines across all channels.

Forecasting, Supply & Operational Excellence

  • Produce robust & accurate sales forecasts monthly for the reflex forecasting system, incorporating promo uplift and NPD phasing.
  • Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain/Operations to manage OTIF, stock risk, allocations etc.
  • Maintain clean administration: pricing files, rebate/trade agreements, NPD forms, and customer portals.
