What You'll Do
The Client Team (comprising Client Services and Client Development functions) undertakes a wide range of responsibilities in driving Billups’ business forward, developing and nurturing client and partner relationships. As part of our Client Services function, the Account Executive role collaborates closely with peers, Account Manager(s), Senior Account Manager(s), Account Director(s) and Senior Account Director(s) in:
Core Role Duties
Media Planning & Buying
- Support the day-to-day management of your clients, effectively servicing them, and proactively contributing to growing client and agency business
- Support the Client Development function with the creation of, or access to, materials or content
- Ability to explain your media plan rationale to your line managers and work on translating that into client decks and emails, ensuring that your recommendation is delivered on the client brief
- Media plan development, RFP collation, grid development, Platform/mapping, planning tools & systems, posting instructions, creating POP reports, amongst other tasks
- Small-level plan/project development/ownership, low-level negotiations, and managing client relationships with high-level oversight from the line manager are the main tasks

Project Management
- Assist in managing shared file drive systems, ensuring all documents and content are appropriately saved and regularly updated. Compile, organize, and maintain accurate, up-to-date campaign files such as buy specs, decks, POP, etc
- With oversight, responsible for Billups’ delivery in ensuring the timely activation of media campaigns for your clients
- Track campaign start dates and ensure everything is ready to go live on time; liaise with relevant vendors to manage artwork delivery and approval processes
- With oversight, provide responsible campaign reporting for your clients - access ‘Proof of Posting (POP)’ and Campaign Attribution, ensuring this is received by clients and/or their agencies in a timely fashion
- Generate consistency and maintain high accuracy in all work through the adoption of appropriate templates and guidelines, ensuring operational excellence
- Help coordinate calendars to arrange team meetings or presentations

Education & Experience
- Degree from a three-year college or university course preferably in the following areas of study: advertising, media or related field; 1-2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
