Account Executive, Enterprise (Acquisition)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive, Enterprise (Acquisition) based in the United Kingdom.

This is a high-impact enterprise sales role focused exclusively on winning new customers across strategic UK accounts.

You will own the full sales cycle, from strategic prospecting and discovery through negotiation and closing.

The territory includes sophisticated organisations across financial services, professional services, advertising, consumer, and industrial sectors.

These customers operate in environments where data management, infrastructure, performance, and reliability are critical to business success.

You will build relationships from the ground up, navigate complex buying committees, and engage stakeholders at executive and technical levels.

The role is ideal for a consultative sales professional who thrives on creating opportunities rather than inheriting an established book of business.

You will combine strategic account planning, business-value selling, and strong execution to consistently deliver new-logo growth.

Accountabilities

  • Own the full enterprise sales cycle across a defined portfolio of strategic UK accounts, from proactive prospecting and opportunity development through negotiation, closing, and quota attainment.
  • Identify and pursue high-potential net-new opportunities, applying a strong hunter mentality to build relationships with organisations that are not currently customers.
  • Use consultative and solution-based selling to uncover business challenges, understand customer priorities, and co-create tailored solutions linked to measurable outcomes.
  • Develop trusted relationships across multiple levels of customer organisations, including technical stakeholders, business leaders, procurement teams, and C-suite executives, to build consensus and maintain executive engagement.
  • Create and execute strategic account plans that identify white-space opportunities, map buying committees, develop multi-year growth strategies, and maximize enterprise potential.
  • Build compelling business cases around measurable customer value, including ROI, total cost of ownership, operational efficiency, and broader business impact.
  • Collaborate effectively with channel partners and internal teams to generate opportunities, accelerate sales cycles, and deliver consistent customer outcomes.
  • Maintain strong operational discipline by accurately managing sales systems, pipeline information, forecasting, account activity, and other commercial processes.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success selling into enterprise accounts, with a consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and delivering measurable new-business results.
  • Proven experience as a net-new business hunter, with a strong record of personally sourcing and closing new enterprise logos rather than focusing primarily on account renewals or expansion.
  • Strong strategic account management capabilities, including account planning, stakeholder mapping, relationship development, and navigating complex, multi-level buying organizations.
  • Extensive consultative selling experience, with the ability to lead discovery conversations, provide valuable business insights, and develop compelling cases tied to ROI, TCO, and customer outcomes.
  • Experience selling into regulated or highly complex environments such as financial services, professional services, or similarly matrixed organisations requiring multi-stakeholder and executive-level engagement.
  • Ability to identify white-space opportunities, develop new customer relationships, and leverage channel or partner ecosystems to accelerate acquisition and growth.
  • Strong understanding of the storage industry, cloud computing, modern data centers, and enterprise data infrastructure.
  • High motivation, accountability, emotional intelligence, strategic thinking, resilience, and a strong results-oriented mindset.
