Account Executive (Entry Level)
Birmingham City Centre (On-Site) | Full-Time | Monday to Friday
£25,000 Base Salary + Performance Incentives (typical weekly bonus £200 to £400)
This is a starting role with genuine responsibility from the outset and a mapped-out path beyond it, built for people at the beginning of their working life who want proper training and a reason to stick around, not a placeholder position they'll be looking to leave within six months.
At Sage, we're growing our Birmingham team and taking on Entry-Level Account Executives to work directly with our clients and support live campaign delivery. You'll work with recognised names including Eon, Mercedes and EE/BT, and you'll be coached and mentored from your first week rather than left to sink or swim. No prior experience needed. We care far more about how you carry yourself, how you talk to people, and how much you want to make something of this.
Why Sage Is Different
We build our people up internally. Rather than hiring senior staff from outside, we back the people already in the room, putting real money and time into hands-on coaching so the business grows because our team grows. When we say we develop people, we mean the person sitting next to you was very likely in your seat not long ago.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
