Why our team needs you
Vok Bikes is on a mission to transform urban transportation.
Vans are not the best choice for most delivery & transport jobs in central London. They spend the day at walking pace, half-empty, paying to sit still. We build the replacement: heavy-duty electric cargo bikes that carry a real payload, run a full shift, and get down streets a van cannot.
We have offices in London, Tallinn, and Vilnius, and a retail network across 14 European markets. Wolt (DoorDash) runs Vok bikes in seven countries, including Berlin and Copenhagen. In London our riders range from enterprises and public bodies such as McDonald's, Veolia, Cadent Gas, the City of London, an NHS trust and FM Conway, down to a long tail of SMBs. We have a small but growing London team, with a showroom and maintenance hub in South Bermondsey. London already sends us more inquiries than any other market we sell in, and we are only just beginning to sell into it directly – the market is moving towards us faster than we are moving into it.
That’s where you come in.
About the role
This is a full-cycle commercial role. You’ll identify potential prospects, create opportunities, run discovery calls and on-site demos, and build a business case together with the prospect.
The core of the job is SMBs and mid-market. Facilities management, commercial cleaning, food & groceries, trades and last-mile operators with 11–1000 employees, running daily rounds through inner London. Deals are around £10,000–£200,000, close in 1-8 months, and the success rests on a business case: cost per round, parking and congestion, driver supply, emissions-zone compliance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
On day one you get a named list of 100 UK target companies, 5-10 qualified inbound leads a month, demo bikes, a showroom, and a founder who is available whenever you need their industry experience and know-how. You will also get a reference bank of satisfied Vok customers with their performance metrics and testimonials.
By the end of month 4, success in this role will look like: 3-4 demos per week, two or more trials started, your first deal closed.
Does this sound like you?
- You have carried and delivered a revenue target of £1M or more, in a role where you sourced the majority share of the pipeline yourself.
- You have sold considered capital purchases – fleet, commercial vehicles, capital equipment, or logistics and facilities services – to SMB owner-managers, operations directors, fleet managers and depot managers.
- You own the full sales cycle: from identifying, sourcing and opening new accounts to running demos, consultative negotiations and closing.
- You are comfortable running both ends at once: a £10,000 test-ride close and a £200,000 fleet case, in the same week, without dropping either.
- You have grown accounts through land and expand, taking a customer from one or two units to ten or more.
- You build a cost-per-round case and defend it in front of a sceptical business owner, finance or fleet manager – against vans and against regular cargo bikes.
- You keep CRM current. Accurate pipeline, deal stages and next steps, so the team has reliable visibility of deal health and forecast.
- You are demo-led. This role runs three to four on-site demos a week: riding Vok bikes across London, loading them with a customer's own product, and standing in a yard at 7am when needed.
- You understand the commercial case for clean urban logistics: emissions zones, fleet decarbonisation targets, and the operating cost pressures that send businesses looking for an alternative to vans.
