Account Executive - French Speaking
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Account Executive - French Speaking based in United Kingdom.
As an Account Executive, you will turn qualified product demonstrations into new, active, and transacting customers within a fast-growing global B2B marketplace. You will own the full commercial journey from discovery and demo through negotiation, contract closure, compliance, onboarding, and early customer activation. Beyond closing deals, you will be responsible for helping customers establish strong purchasing habits during their first 90 days. You will work closely with SDRs and Account Managers to ensure seamless handoffs and a strong customer experience. The role combines consultative selling, commercial negotiation, operational follow-through, and account activation. You will join a globally distributed sales organization where ownership, speed, customer relationships, and measurable results are highly valued.
Accountabilities
- Run discovery-led product demonstrations that connect the marketplace's capabilities to each retailer's specific purchasing workflow, business needs, and commercial objectives.
- Manage the full sales cycle from proposal and commercial terms through objection handling, stakeholder alignment, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Build trusted relationships with prospective customers and clearly communicate the value of broader supplier access, competitive pricing, product selection, and marketplace efficiency.
- Drive KYC and compliance processes through to completion, proactively following up on documentation and resolving onboarding obstacles without losing sales momentum.
- Own the customer journey throughout the first 90 days, helping new accounts move from initial searches and quotations to their first orders and repeat purchases.
- Focus on customer activation and long-term value rather than simply closing and handing off newly signed accounts.
- Partner with SDRs to ensure strong qualification and effective handoffs before and after demonstrations.
- Coordinate with Account Managers to provide detailed account context, purchasing patterns, opportunities, and potential risks ahead of the day-90 transition.
- Maintain accurate pipeline stages, activity records, and forecasts, ensuring commercial reporting reflects the true state of opportunities.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators including demo-to-close conversion, new business revenue, KYC completion time, 90-day activation, account value, and forecast accuracy.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

- Experience selling solutions based on customer workflows and business outcomes rather than relying on feature-led product presentations.
- Excellent discovery, presentation, demonstration, negotiation, objection-handling, and closing skills.
- Commercially minded and comfortable managing pricing discussions, contractual terms, and pushback from customers and multiple stakeholders.
- Strong operational discipline and willingness to own post-sale activities such as KYC, compliance, onboarding, and activation.
- Ability to manage a pipeline effectively, prioritize opportunities, and maintain accurate forecasts in a fast-paced environment.
