We are seeking a driven, commercially minded, and ambitious individual to join the UK & EU A&A marketplaces division as an Account Executive based full-time in our London office. In this role, you will be responsible for engaging and converting new auction houses onto ATG’s platforms.
Working closely with the A&A leadership team, you will focus on originating new accounts and expanding ATG’s marketplace presence by selling auctioneers the ability to run auctions across the-saleroom.com, Lot-tissimo, and LiveAuctioneers (catalogue-only listings) for both live and timed auctions.
As an Account Executive at ATG, you will play a key role in driving marketplace growth by building a strong pipeline of prospective clients and converting opportunities into long-term platform partnerships. You will act as a consultative sales partner, helping auctioneers understand how ATG’s technology, audience reach, and marketing capabilities can help them expand their buyer base and maximize auction performance.
Responsibilities
- Identify, prospect, and originate new auction houses to join ATG marketplaces.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of new business opportunities across the UK & EU A&A sector.
- Sell the ability for auctioneers to run live and timed auctions across the-saleroom.com, Lot-tissimo, and catalogue-only listings on LiveAuctioneers.
- Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, events, and industry networking to generate new opportunities.
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate ATG’s value proposition.
- Structure and negotiate commercial agreements that deliver value for both the client and ATG.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and sales activity tracking within CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with Client Success, Marketing, and Product teams to ensure smooth onboarding and long-term client success.

Qualifications

- Fluent in German and English language (required), to sell into the European market.
- Proven experience in a new business, sales, or business development role.
- Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with the ability to build and manage a healthy pipeline.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales targets and closing commercial deals.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to structure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Experience working within a technology, SaaS, e-commerce, or marketplace environment is advantageous.
- Ability to build relationships quickly with auctioneers and senior stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
- Comfortable using CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) to manage pipeline and performance.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and resilient with a strong drive to win new business.
- Passion for technology and the auction industry, with an interest in helping clients grow through digital marketplaces.
- Must be based in London and available 5 days per week in the office.
