Account Executive (FULL TRAINING PROVIDED)
Location: Portland, Dorset
Salary: £35,000 Basic + £35,000-£45,000 OTE
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
We are seeking an ambitious and driven Account Executive to join our growing team in Portland, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a successful career in sales, whether you already have sales experience or come from a customer-facing background.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, and supporting the company's continued growth. You will manage the sales process from initial contact through to closing deals, ensuring an exceptional customer experience throughout. Full training and ongoing development will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through proactive sales activity.
- Contact potential customers via phone, email, social media, and face-to-face meetings.
- Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to successful account acquisition.
- Qualify leads and identify customer requirements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients.
- Arrange and attend client meetings and presentations.
- Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and solutions to customers.
- Manage and update the CRM with accurate customer information and sales activity.
- Work towards individual and team sales targets.
- Collaborate with colleagues across the business to maximise opportunities.
- Represent the company professionally at all times.

Requirements
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- A proactive, resilient, and target-driven mindset.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Confidence engaging with prospective customers and decision-makers.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Full UK driving licence is essential.
- Previous experience in sales, account management, retail, hospitality, customer service, or another customer-facing role would be advantageous but is not essential.
