Position Overview

We are seeking a Digital Sales Specialist to join our team!

As a Digital Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for driving new business growth and expanding SBS's Digital Engagement solutions across the European market. Working with Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 financial institutions, you will engage senior business and technology stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives and position SBS as a trusted partner in their digital transformation journey.

Digital Engagement is a critical component of modern banking, enabling financial institutions to acquire and retain customers, enhance user experiences, meet regulatory requirements, and compete effectively in an increasingly digital marketplace. SBS's Digital Engagement platform supports banks across mobile, web, assisted channels, and open ecosystems, making it a key strategic investment for our customers.

In this role, you will manage complex enterprise sales cycles, develop and execute territory growth strategies, and lead high-value opportunities from prospecting through contract signature. Success requires a consultative sales approach, strong business acumen, and the ability to build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders.

This is a quota-carrying role with direct responsibility for generating new revenue, building a sustainable pipeline, and consistently achieving or exceeding sales targets. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys navigating complex customer challenges, and is passionate about helping financial institutions accelerate their digital transformation initiatives.

If you want to sell something meaningful — and be judged on real results — this is your role.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full new business lifecycle for Digital Engagement:
    • Prospect identification and lead generation
    • Opportunity qualification and value creation
    • Negotiation and closing of new contracts with net new logos and existing customers
  • Expand Strategic Customers
    • Own the cross sell lifecycle for Digital Engagement within SBS’s existing customer base
    • Work closely with Global Key Account Managers to expand footprint and deal size in strategic accounts
  • Sell at Executive Level
    • Use consultative selling techniques to build credible, long term relationships with senior executives up to C level
    • Position Digital Engagement as a strategic platform decision, not a feature purchase
    • Connect technology to outcomes: growth, cost reduction, compliance, speed to market
  • Lead Complex Deals End to End
    • Collaborate closely with Presales and internal experts to shape tailored, high impact solutions
    • Lead deal and bid teams, including RFx responses, to design and defend winning proposals
    • Take ownership of contract negotiations, working confidently with Legal, Finance and senior stakeholders
  • Operate with Discipline
    • Provide timely and accurate weekly sales forecasts for new business
    • Deliver on forecast commitments made across the organisation (subscriptions, professional services, consulting)
    • Act as a visible and proud ambassador of the SBS brand in the market

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
