EMEA Commercial Director at Teamworks

I'm Conor Branson, EMEA Commercial Director at Teamworks, responsible for leading our growth across our core product offerings in EMEA. Having successfully expanded across other areas of Europe, we are now turning our attention to Italy, where a wave of US investors acquiring Italian clubs is pushing the market's commercial maturity forward fast. We've signed a handful of organizations and are now looking to invest in a dedicated Account Executive to drive the region forward.

This is a renewed, dedicated push on Italy for our EMEA Sales Team. You'll work alongside an in-market Customer Success Manager who owns our existing accounts, while you run point on turning our early foothold into a real market position across Serie A, Serie B, national federations and other sports.

The Role

  • Lead Italy sales efforts across Serie A, Serie B, and national federations across our core product categories of Operations and Performance
  • Convert our existing reference customers into expansion opportunities and turn early wins into case studies
  • Open and close new opportunities with prospective clubs, partnering with our in-market Customer Success Manager and Business Development Executive on handoff and expansion
  • Build senior relationships with sporting directors, ownership, and technical leadership, including newer US-backed ownership groups entering Italian football
  • Bring market intelligence back to our regional strategy as the first dedicated hire in this market

What I'm Looking For

What You Must Bring

  • Fluent Italian speaker; this role involves navigating Italian club structures and culture day to day
  • Based in the UK, with willingness to frequently travel to Italy; face-to-face time is critical in this role
  • Proven commercial sales experience at an elite sports tech company, we are looking for somebody who has sold to elite sports organizations previously
  • Technical understanding of how a performance department operates within a sports organization, enough to hold a credible conversation with sporting directors and technical staff
  • A demonstrated track record of building pipeline from scratch and closing, not just managing an inherited book
  • Comfort with Salesforce and disciplined CRM hygiene

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Even Better If

  • You have experience living and working in Italy; an intuitive understanding of local ways of working is critical to building relationships
  • You have exposure to the US commercial approach, through education, work experience, or prior client-side experience with US ownership groups, given how many US investors are now active in Italian football
  • You've previously built senior relationships within Italian football from a cold start

Why This Role

This is a chance to run point on a market with real air cover: a handful of reference customers already validating demand, multiple products to sell (Hub, AMS, Nutrition, and Strength & Conditioning), and some of the biggest brands in world sport as your buyers. If you want to build something and own it, rather than inherit a territory, this is that role.

This role is not eligible for sponsorship at this time.
