About Us

We are a fast-growing media brand in the startup world that specializes in poking fun at the tech industry. (100M+ imp across portfolio | ~200k followers)

On the back of that, we’ve built a world-class content agency. We help VCs, founders, and top tech executives build authority with funny or unique content on LinkedIn and X. Think interesting stories, hot takes, and shitposts.

Our clients are backed by Sequoia, a16z, and other tier 1 firms and have raised anywhere between $5M to $1B+.

Most agencies sell delivery trucks. We sell Ferraris. We make people famous, and our clients come to us because nobody else can do what we do.

Right now our co-founder runs the client relationships himself. That doesn't scale, and it's the only thing standing between us and the next stage of this business. So we're hiring one person to take it over.

The Role

What you’ll actually do:

  • Own the relationship for 15+ clients, plus every account that closes after you start.
  • Know each client better than anyone else here does. What they care about, what they'd never say, who they're trying to impress, what they're actually building.
  • Run the weekly call for each client alongside our editor and writer. You drive it.
  • Be the last set of eyes on content before it reaches the client. Our writers make it funny, our editor makes sure it's good. You're the one who knows whether it's right for that specific client, and you send it back when it isn't.
  • Anticipate things before they ask. Clients shouldn't have to ask you twice, and often shouldn't have to ask once.
  • Handle everything commercial: renewals, scope, pricing conversations, expansion.
  • Watch account health and act on it. Slow approvals, a client who's gone quiet, or whatever signals you have and when they show up long before anyone complains.
  • Keep our editors and writers pointed in the right direction on every account.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You won't be doing this alone. Every account has a writer and an editor already on it. You own the relationships, not the content machine itself.

Our requirements:

  • You've been the person a client escalates to. Consulting, banking, agency account work, anywhere the client was yours and the standard was high.
  • You're culturally sophisticated. You actually follow tech. You understand venture capital, how deals work, what founders are worried about at 11pm. You can hold your own in a room with any of our clients.
  • You have high executive function. You run your own system without anyone checking on you. You reply fast. Nothing falls through. You were probably a straight-A student, and you're still that person.
  • People immediately like you. You read a room and adjust without thinking about it. You're warm, you're charming, and clients trust you because you're worth trusting.

What we're not asking for: you don't need to be a writer. You'll never be asked to produce content. That's what our writers and editor are for.

Where This Goes

We're growing fast, and we need people who can lead with us. Every part of this business: account management, content, sales, is going to need a head, and accounts is the department that matters most. If you're excellent at this, that's you, and the ceiling is COO of this company.

Tools You’ll Use

  • Google Docs + Notion
  • Sheets + Airtable
  • Slack + WhatsApp
  • Whatever you already use to run your own day

The Setup

  • $120k/year
  • Remote. You can be based anywhere, but our client calls run Eastern and Pacific time, and you will need to work on their schedule.
  • Excellent communication
