Account Executive (Full-Cycle, SMB)
Shoreditch, London (in office) | Healthtech - £80k OTE
Motive Group is hiring on behalf of a fast-growing, VC-backed healthtech. This is a chance to accelerate your sales career fast.
Our client uses AI to fix how healthcare providers get paid: faster payments, less revenue lost to billing errors. They're at around 100 clinics and growing, with clear product-market fit. Selling has been founder-led so far. Now they want someone to own deals and work side by side with the founder who's closed them to date.
THE ROLE
You'll run the full cycle: prospect, discover, demo, close. The motion is SMB and fast, around 3-4 weeks from first meeting to signed deal, deals around £5-7k, and a target of 5-6 closes a month. You own the full cycle end to end. You'll work with an SDR to accelerate your pipeline, but we want someone who can and will build their own too. Working closely with the founder, you'll help make the motion more structured and repeatable.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
We're open on background, as long as you're hungry and can sell. That could be:
- A full-cycle AE with 2-4 years' experience, dynamic and ready to step up, or
- An AE from a more structured environment, where you've seen strong process but want a more dynamic environment
We will also consider a standout SDR looking to make the step up - but you will need a serious track record, strong at qualification and a structured process, likely with some demo experience

YOU MUST BE
- Ready to own the whole cycle and build your own pipeline, using SDR support to move faster
- Suited to a fast SMB motion: short cycles, smaller deals, higher volume
- Bonus: you've sold a B2B product to a less technical end user (clinic owners, practice managers, SMB owners)
WHY IT'S A STRONG MOVE
Real ownership early, a founder to learn from directly, and a company with product-market fit behind you. This is where a strong closer, or a hungry SDR ready to step up, levels up fast.
“It took my CV and asked me questions relevant to understanding what kind of jobs to suggest for me. Suggestions were almost perfect. Jobs were exactly what I’ve been looking for.”
