Colt provides network, voice and data centre services to thousands of businesses around the world, allowing them to focus on delivering their business goals instead of the underlying infrastructure.
Why we need this role
As a Global Enterprise Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth and strategic customer engagement across a portfolio of 6-8 large multinational enterprise customers. Operating as the executive owner of these relationships, you will develop and execute global account strategies that align Colt's solutions with customers' international business priorities.
This is a growth-focused role with responsibility for achieving revenue targets through customer retention, cross-sell and upsell opportunities across Colt's full portfolio. Success requires building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, identifying new opportunities across global business units, and coordinating internal teams to deliver exceptional customer outcomes.
What you will do
- Own and develop a portfolio of 6-8 strategic global enterprise customers, serving as the primary commercial relationship lead.
- Create and execute multi-year global account plans focused on revenue growth, customer retention, and strategic expansion.
- Achieve and exceed annual revenue, cross-sell and upsell targets across assigned accounts.
- Build and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders across multiple geographies, business units and functions.
- Identify and drive new business opportunities by aligning Colt's solutions to customers' evolving global connectivity, cloud, security and digital transformation requirements.
- Coordinate internal resources across sales, solution engineering, service delivery and product teams to execute account strategies.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations, contract renewals and global framework agreements.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer business objectives, industry trends and competitive dynamics to position Colt as a strategic partner.
- Leverage customer insights and data to identify growth opportunities, mitigate risks and strengthen long-term account value.
- Accurately forecast revenue performance and maintain account plans, pipelines and opportunities within CRM systems.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
