ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE
The Account Executive (AE) is an entry-level role which is a critical support function and helps more senior members of the account team to drive projects through internally, and with the client. In order to immerse themselves into the deadline-oriented, team-based nature of agency work, the AE needs to embody an impeccable level of organization, a keen eye for detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills as a baseline.
An AE should be enthusiastic and interested in learning about Learning and Development (L&D) within life sciences. They bring an outgoing and congenial personality and energy to their work, and are able to connect and interact with a wide variety of people.
A successful AE embodies and regularly demonstrates the following skills:
- Listening and questioning in project briefings and kick-off meetings, understanding clients’ business challenges, needs and intended outcomes for a project
- Collaboration - believing in the strength of utilising multiple perspectives and skillsets to arrive at a solution for clients
- Accountability finishing what you start and understand the steps required to complete a project task
- Transparency is key to building trust; the AE should share their progress on tasks with the project lead
- Passionate about people and is motivated by and comfortable with communicating with different personality types and all levels of client seniority and adapts their style appropriately to fit discussions
- Client focused – can demonstrate the ability to satisfy client needs and those of internal stakeholders and team members, and shows a willingness to work together to build trust
- Solutions and results focused – seeks to understand the background to the project and its objectives to ensure solutions are relevant
- Keen interest in education, healthcare and digital transformation – these are the building blocks of our solutions
- Resilient and flexible – is able to keep functioning effectively when under pressure

Job functions
Project management and teamwork
The AE works closely with more senior members of the account team, supporting the delivery of L&D deliverables in a timely manner, within budget and to meet or surpass client expectations.
- Mavenlink - Project set-up: templates, timelines and resourcing and reviewing these with more senior members of the account team
- Tracking project timelines in Mavenlink and ensuring the data are up to date and reflective of where projects are in the overall process
- Budget monitoring and flagging any potential overspends or out-of-scope requests with senior members of the account team
- Invoicing, based on agreed invoicing schedules with clients
- Updating client status reports, ensuring any delivery dates are reflective of agreed timelines within the agency
- Communicating project status and updates to clients clearly and always keeping them appraised of next steps in the process and any potential hurdles
- Drafting meeting summary reports (objectives, discussion points, next steps) for clients following key meetings to manage expectations and drive alignment on next steps
- Coordinating formal medical/legal/regulatory reviews, usually on Veeva, and understanding the tasks involved for formal submissions
- Reviewing content drafts against client amends, flagging anything that is unclear and needs to be addressed with the client before briefing the internal team
- Reviewing artworked deliverables (PDFs, PPTs, In Design or other) against content drafts, ensuring no critical information has been missed
- Reviewing development links against supplied storyboards and content drafts, ensuring programming reflects approved storyboards and meets the technical specs agreed at the start of the project
- In general, tracking amendments, always ensuring feedback is managed in a consolidated fashion and in keeping with the overall scope

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree
- 1 – 3 years Account Executive or Project Management experience in a life science agency.
