👋 About Us

Sunday is building the fastest, simplest way to pay in restaurants. With a quick scan of a QR code, diners can pay, tip, and leave in about 10 seconds. We believe great products should feel obvious, not complicated, and we focus relentlessly on keeping things simple while earning trust from restaurants and guests at every interaction. Today, Sunday powers payments in thousands of restaurants across the US, UK, and France, helping operators turn tables faster, increase tips, and unlock valuable insights. We push ourselves to go beyond what’s expected, building with ownership, moving fast, and scaling with ambition as we tackle our biggest growth opportunity in the US.

About the Role

The Account Executive role is a great opportunity to leverage your sales skills to expand the number of restaurants working with Sunday across the UK.

You will own the full sales cycle, from identifying and prospecting new restaurant opportunities through to pitching, negotiating, and closing. Your primary focus will be independent restaurants and smaller restaurant groups, so we are looking for someone who is comfortable moving quickly, managing a high volume of opportunities, and building strong relationships with restaurant owners and operators.

You should be a natural salesperson who is confident prospecting, running great meetings and demos, and turning opportunities into signed partnerships.

Join early, grow fast, and shape the journey!

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and first contact through to closing
  • Build and manage a strong pipeline of independent restaurants and smaller restaurant groups
  • Prospect into target restaurants through phone, email, social channels, and in-person outreach
  • Meet with restaurant owners, operators, and other decision makers over the phone, video, or in person
  • Understand each restaurant's needs and clearly communicate how Sunday can help improve the guest experience and their business
  • Run effective product demonstrations and confidently communicate the value of Sunday and its newest products
  • Manage commercial conversations and negotiations to turn opportunities into signed partnerships
  • Maintain a high level of activity while prioritizing the best opportunities in your pipeline
  • Keep Salesforce accurate and up to date, with clear next steps across your opportunities
  • Work closely with SDRs, onboarding, and other internal teams to ensure new restaurant partners are set up for success
  • Share feedback from the market and help us continuously improve our sales approach and processes

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
