Location – home based with fortnightly visits to the Bath office plus monthly visits to the client in France (and possibly other EU countries)
Reports to - Head of Client Services, Marcom
Salary – £35-40K pa
Essential – must speak French and English fluently
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced digital marketing professional to join our Bath-based digital marketing agency and manage our work for an international client, a technology Value-Added Distributor, based just outside Paris.
Working primarily from home with occasional visits to the client, you'll act as the trusted day-to-day digital partner to the marketing and lead generation function, using the existing digital assets and possibly helping shape and deliver the transformation of the client's digital ecosystem. Your focus will be:
- Working with the Marcom team to manage the existing website (WordPress multi-site in English and 6 European languages, built around a central product database), SEO and lead generation, content and new developments, social media QA, email and paid media marketing, etc as well as supporting other client marketing areas – branding, print, video, brochures, research, exhibitions, etc.
- Possibly supporting the complete redevelopment of the client's European websites - working with stakeholders on ‘Discovery’ to define requirements, agree project scope; then to manage delivery and ensure the programme is delivered on time and budget, within scope and to the highest quality.
You'll work closely with the client's marketing team while coordinating Marcom’s specialists across strategy, UJ, UX, graphic design, development, SEO, content and digital marketing (paid and organic). Success in the role will come from your ability to build trusted relationships and focus on lead generation while translating business requirements into actionable digital solutions and delivering measurable commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Client Partnership
- Act as the primary day-to-day contact between the client and Marcom.
- Build strong relationships with the client's marketing, product and commercial teams, becoming a trusted adviser on digital platforms and customer experience.
- Same within Marcom.
- Understand the client's business objectives and translate them into clear digital recommendations and project plans.
- Present recommendations, project updates and performance reports to client and other stakeholders.

Performance Marketing & Lead Generation
- Recommend improvements to the client's activities that enhance UX, SEO, lead generation and commercial performance.
- Work with the client to optimize PIM (Product Information Management) processes and digital product information across multiple websites, regions and markets.
- Support the integration of CRM (Customer Relationship Management), AI, marketing automation and analytics platforms to improve marketing effectiveness.
- Ensure all digital recommendations align with the client's commercial objectives and marketing strategy.
AI & Digital Innovation
- Identify opportunities to introduce AI-powered capabilities that improve lead generation, customer experience and marketing efficiency.
- Recommend and help implement AI solutions such as intelligent website search, content generation, personalisation, conversational AI (eg Chat) and marketing automation.
- Keep the client informed of emerging digital and AI trends, providing practical recommendations that deliver measurable business value.
Delivery & Quality
- Coordinate agency resources across design, development, SEO, content and digital marketing.
- Ensure projects are delivered to agreed quality standards, budgets and timelines.
- Provide QA across all client deliverables before presentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve ways of working and strengthen the agency-client partnership.
Essential Qualities
- Fluent French and English speaker.
- At least two years' experience with digital platforms, website programmes and digital projects ideally for a multi-country/language B2B technology, engineering, electronics or specialist distribution organisation with complex product portfolios.
- Proven experience managing the end-to-end delivery of enterprise website projects, from discovery and requirements gathering through scoping, design, development, testing and launch.
- Experience working with databases, preferably PIM platforms and large, complex product catalogues.
- Strong understanding of websites as lead generation tools, including SEO, UX, conversion optimisation and analytics.
- Practical experience recommending or implementing AI-powered digital marketing solutions that improve customer engagement, lead generation and/or operational efficiency.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams including UX, design, development, content, SEO and digital marketing specialists.
- Outstanding stakeholder management, communication and presentation skills.
- Highly organised with excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of enterprise CMS (Content Management Systems) platforms, CRM and marketing automation platforms.
- Experience with multilingual, multi-country websites.
- Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Website Transformation (for possible replacement website project)
- Lead the agency's coordination of the client's website redevelopment programme.
- Work with the client to define website requirements, functionality, UJs and business objectives.
- Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and build consensus across stakeholders.
- Help prepare the new website scoping and specification.
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, risks and dependencies throughout the programme.
- Coordinate internal agency teams and external partners to ensure agreed deliverables are completed on time, budget and to specification.
- Monitor project progress, proactively managing issues and communicating status to all stakeholders.
