At Gearset, we’re scaling fast in the Salesforce ecosystem, backed by a proven market, clear goals, and a culture built on collaboration, not competition. As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you’ll be at the heart of this growth: helping customers solve meaningful challenges, bridging teams across the UK and US, and unlocking the full potential of our platform through thoughtful, consultative selling.

What’s the opportunity for an Account Executive - Mid-Market at Gearset?

  • Lead the full sales-cycle, from deep discovery into the customers challenges through to negotiation and approvals, all whilst giving the customer the best experience possible
  • Connect customer pains to business outcomes by understanding what’s at stake, aligning solutions to goals, and positioning Gearset as the standout choice to get them there.
  • Deliver story-led, insight-driven demos that don’t just show features—but clearly solve real problems. You'll bring our product to life through compelling narratives rooted in a deep understanding of Salesforce, DevOps, and our personas.
  • Contribute to a culture of growth and learning, offering thoughtful feedback to your peers on sales calls, emails, and processes using tools like Gong and Salesforce to help us all raise the bar.
  • Think critically in the moment. Whether it’s an objection or a tough question, you’ll take a step back, consider the JTBD (job to be done), and work through solutions with curiosity and confidence.
  • Challenge assumptions with empathy, guiding prospects towards best practices and setting them up for long-term success.
  • Collaborate across the business—from product to marketing, customer success to engineering—to uncover new opportunities, improve our processes, and shape the future of our platform.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
