Account Executive, Mid-Market

Overview

We are looking for a driven and commercially focused Account Executive, Mid-Market to manage sales opportunities, build strong customer relationships and support revenue growth across the mid-market segment. This role is suited to someone with proven B2B sales experience, strong communication skills and the ability to manage opportunities from initial engagement through to close.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop a pipeline of mid-market sales opportunities.
  • Engage prospective customers to understand their business needs and priorities.
  • Deliver clear and compelling product or service presentations.
  • Manage the sales process from initial contact through negotiation and close.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects, customers and key stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, activity and opportunity records.
  • Work closely with internal teams to support customer requirements and successful handovers.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing and new customer relationships.
  • Provide regular updates on pipeline activity and sales progress.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in B2B sales, account management or a related commercial role.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Experience managing multiple sales opportunities and stakeholder relationships.
  • Commercially minded with a customer-focused approach.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with wider teams.
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment.
  • Experience within SaaS, technology or another B2B environment would be advantageous.
