About The Role And Team
Uber for Business (U4B) is rapidly expanding and is positioned for global scale. As a Mid-Market Account Executive, you are on the front lines of this expansion, tasked with building an Uber community within business organizations from the ground up. This is a "hunter" role in a high-growth environment where you will identify and acquire new clients for our mobility and delivery services, specifically targeting companies with fewer than 2,000 employees.
The reality of this role is high-velocity and high-stakes. You will face the challenge of 0-to-100 pipeline management in a market where you must often sell the "narrative" of a product that prospects didn't know they needed. Success requires deep resilience, self-discipline, and a builder's mindset. You'll need to navigate constant change and high-pressure targets while maintaining the grit to unblock complex negotiations. If you are a self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and is motivated by the opportunity to shape the future of business movement in Japan, this is where you'll grow.
What You'll Do
- Plan and execute a comprehensive semi-annual GTM strategy to achieve and exceed sales quotas within the Mid-Market segment.
- Identify prospect pain points and craft winning narratives to expand lead generation and drive product adoption across UK&I.
- Coordinate the end-to-end sales motion for corporate customers, including initial qualification, education, pricing, contract negotiation, and launch implementation.
- Prioritize high-value leads and locate key decision-makers with speed to maintain high sales velocity and momentum.
- Manage a mature pipeline and forecast structure, utilizing a rigorous sales cadence to provide accurate and transparent data to leadership.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Operations, and Implementation teams to ensure every new account launch is seamless and impactful.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
