The company

Every refrigerated truck and trailer moving goods across the country has relied on diesel for decades. It's polluting, expensive, and the technology hasn't changed. Two companies have dominated the market, selling the same legacy technology with minor updates.

Sunswap makes the electric refrigeration that's replacing it - zero emissions, lower operating costs, built from the ground up for how fleets actually operate.

We have gone from founding to manufacturing at scale globally in just six years. We built our own production facility in Surrey. We are trusted by major brands like Tesco, Ocado, Birds Eye, and Happy Eggs every single day. With units operating across the UK, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Chile, and Australia.

We have been named Sunday Times Best Place to Work 2024 and 2025. We have won awards for innovation, technology, and marketing excellence. We've secured backing from BGF, Barclays, and Clean Growth Fund. We've got the customers, the traction, and the momentum.

Now we are taking this British-engineered product global. Scaling manufacturing. Opening new markets. Building the team that will make legacy polluting technology obsolete across the world.

If you want to be part of a company that's setting new standards for the industry and scaling internationally, this is it.

Our benefits

  • 30 days of annual leave plus Bank Holidays! (includes a Wellbeing Day)
  • Sabbatical (after 3 years of working with Sunswap)
  • 5 free counselling sessions per year
  • Family leave ranging from 4 weeks to 4 months
  • Free Monthly Lunches & Quarterly Socials!
  • Cycle to Work Scheme

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Job overview

We are growing fast, and the pipeline is there to prove it. We are now looking for an Account Executive to capitalise on that momentum — winning new customers across our Velocity Accounts segment and building the relationships that will support Sunswap's continued growth.

Velocity Accounts are high-potential customers where we can move quickly, build momentum and convert opportunities at pace. You will own the full sales cycle across a portfolio of these accounts, from prospecting and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in scaling Sunswap's commercial success — bringing new customers into the business, growing relationships and helping turn a strong pipeline into results.

Key responsibilities

  • Own and deliver against sales targets across a portfolio of Velocity Accounts, driving new business and consistently working towards revenue goals.
  • Manage the full sales cycle end-to-end, from lead generation and prospecting through to proposal, negotiation and close, across both virtual and in-person channels.
  • Identify, qualify and develop new opportunities within target sectors, moving prospects through the sales process efficiently and converting them into customers.
  • Create and present compelling, detailed proposals to secure trial agreements and orders.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline of Velocity Accounts, taking ownership of your territory and reporting progress clearly and regularly to the wider business.
  • Build strong, lasting relationships with prospective and existing customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
  • Work closely with designated regional partners to develop joint opportunities and accelerate customer acquisition.
  • Host and attend industry events to generate new opportunities, build relationships and raise Sunswap's profile within target markets.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team on inbound lead generation, sales materials and campaign activity.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, contracts, amendments and sales documentation in line with Sunswap's processes and compliance standards.
  • Stay ahead of competitor activity and sector developments through regular market analysis, using insights to sharpen your approach and identify new opportunities.
