ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE – EUROPEAN BUSINESS | LONDON | £40,000–£55,000

We’re partnering with a specialist international insurance business looking to appoint an Account Executive to join its growing London team.

This is a broad role combining account handling, documentation and broking support, working closely with a senior producer across a portfolio of European business. It would suit someone currently working within the London Insurance Market who has strong technical foundations but wants broader exposure to clients, underwriters, and the placement process.

The role will include:

  • Preparing quote slips and MRC documentation
  • Managing endorsements and policy documentation
  • Progressing placements and documentation through PPL
  • Liaising directly with underwriters, clients, and retail brokers
  • Supporting the presentation of risks and negotiation of terms
  • Managing an active European pipeline and tracking outstanding quotes, subjectivities, and renewals
  • Working closely with a senior producer throughout the policy lifecycle
  • Developing specialist product and market knowledge

We’re particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

  • Experience within insurance account handling, broking support, or a similar technical role
  • Exposure to the London Insurance Market
  • Working knowledge of MRC slips and policy documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • The confidence to communicate with brokers, clients, and underwriters
  • A proactive approach and an interest in developing further on the broking side

Experience with PPL would be advantageous, although training can be provided. Previous exposure to contingency, event, entertainment, or European risks would also be beneficial but is not essential. Italian language skills would be an additional advantage.

📍 London – hybrid, 2–3 days per week in the office

💰 £45,000–£55,000 + benefits
