The Account Executive

The Account Executive is a vital link in the successful delivery of services to our clients. Working closely with Account Managers, you will act as a key point of contact, helping to understand current and future client needs while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

Due to a new client joining Cloud this year, we are excited to be recruiting for a part-time Account Executive to support this account.

We anticipate the role will require approximately 24 hours per week, typically worked across three 8-hour days. However, we recognize that flexibility is important and are open to conversations about alternative working patterns that meet both client/business and individual needs.

What you'll be doing day to day

  • Build strong, long-lasting relationships with clients.
  • Proactively seek to understand client operations and strategic goals to inform decision-making.
  • Act as a key point of escalation and communication for both internal teams and client contacts on complex issues, complaints, queries, costs, and quotations.
  • Monitor operational performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prevent recurring issues through continuous process improvement.
  • Support Account Managers with reporting, analysis, and client presentations.
  • Attend regular client meetings to understand future needs and expectations.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of agreed client solutions and initiatives.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships across internal departments.
  • Work with Account Managers to research and develop long-term client solutions and initiatives.
  • Assess the suitability of potential solutions, considering client needs, operational delivery, commercial value, and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist Account Managers in developing and presenting client proposals.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of Cloud products, services, systems, and processes.
  • Promote client understanding and engagement with the Cloud model, systems, and ways of working.
  • Develop strong relationships with key suppliers relevant to the account.
  • Negotiate supplier costs where appropriate to deliver best value for the client.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
