Account Executive – Removals, Storage & Haulage
Salary - £75,000 plus bonus
Remote/ Surrey & Hybrid
Pavilion Recruitment is supporting a specialist commercial insurance broker with the appointment of an ambitious, client-focused Account Executive.
This is a new-business-led role for someone who enjoys being visible in the market: meeting clients, attending industry events, developing relationships and converting warm opportunities into long-term accounts.
The role
You will inherit a circa £200k income book of removals and storage clients while building your own portfolio through a strong pipeline of inbound enquiries, referrals and industry contacts.

- Manage your client relationships end-to-end, supported by an experienced broking support team
- Have real scope to help develop the business’s growing haulage offering
Key responsibilities
- Manage and grow an inherited removals and storage portfolio, initially SME level clients
- Develop new business from warm leads, events, referrals and networking
- Attend national client visits, regional meetings and industry events
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across commercial covers
- Build a recognisable personal presence within the removals, storage and haulage sectors
- Work closely with broking support, claims and underwriting teams

What we’re looking for
- Commercial insurance broking experience, ideally in an Account Executive or new-business capacity
- Strong knowledge of fleet, liability and commercial combined insurance
- Haulage experience or contacts would be highly advantageous, but are not essential
- A confident relationship builder with a proactive, entrepreneurial approach
- Comfortable travelling for client meetings and industry events
- Open to established Executives and ambitious brokers ready for their first Executive role
