Account Executive (B2B), London (Permanent, full-time, Office-based Mon-Thu, Friday half-day from home)

Up to £45,000 basic (dependent on experience) + uncapped commission (circa £64,000 Year One Realistic OTE).

This is a new role within a well-established company specialising in B2B solutions. The market you'll be selling into is currently in a significant period of growth, with demand continuing to climb. We're looking for someone ambitious and hungry who is ready to build new leads from scratch and see them through the entire sales cycle.

About the Role of Account Executive

You won't be afraid to pick up the phone and create your own pipeline. This is pure new business: researching prospects, opening senior-level conversations, building tailored proposals and closing complex B2B solution sales. You'll then work closely with your clients to make sure they get real value from the partnership, including face-to-face meetings, with international travel as part of the role.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For in an AE

Industry experience isn't required, as full training will be provided. Drive, resilience and sales ability that can be evidenced are critical. The following profiles outline traits of an ideal candidate:

  • Someone at the top of their team's leaderboard, ready to own the sales cycle from first call to close and take on bigger, more complex deals.
  • Established sales professional with 2-3 years' experience selling complex, high-value propositions, looking for a role with more autonomy, upside and ownership.
  • Someone with a strong cold-calling and client-management background, confident speaking with senior stakeholders and ready to move into a commercial sales role.
  • We are looking for candidates who are hungry, coachable and motivated by success, with excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Sales professionals who do not wait for inbound leads but actively create their own opportunities.
  • A self-starter who is comfortable with autonomy, and ready to learn a new market quickly.
