About MPLC

MPLC are the legal way to show movies and TV in a public or commercial space with a vision to be the global number one trusted partner to studios and producers for public performance licensing. We are on a mission to enable companies to use great content while championing content creators and their intellectual property.

We’re hiring a sales executive to be a part of our small business team and help build the outbound licensing team to support MPLC’s growth through acquiring new business.

The Role in Three Bullets

  • Drive new revenue: Make high volume outbound sales calls following marketing campaigns.
  • Win deals: Engage stakeholders, build compelling business cases quickly.
  • Collaborate across the business: Partner with marketing, sales ops and enablement to ensure a seamless buyer journey and maximise conversions.

Responsibilities

This isn't a passive, inbound role. You'll need to prospect, pitch, build trust with clients, and close proactively. This role involves high volume outbound activity, with sometimes low results. You'll need to bounce back quickly from rejection and setbacks to achieve results.

Some of our systems and processes are still being optimized - but we hope you'll help shape them and take initiative to suggest improvements where you see them.

Experience with tech sales tools is an advantage but not essential. (Outreach, Gong, Salesforce)

Experience in cold-calling and making sales to small businesses is useful but not essential.

  • Hybrid role, 3 days per week in our Eastbourne office.
  • Base salary from £25,000 per year.
  • OTE £68,000.
  • Uncapped commission.
