The SMB Account Executive
The SMB Account Executive wins new business and grows existing SMB relationships through disciplined, high-velocity execution. This is a role for a competitive self-starter who has a hunger to win, creates momentum, asks smart questions, is resilient, and stays relentlessly focused on the highest-value opportunities. You’ll prospect consistently, qualify with rigor, and adapt quickly—turning customer insight into clear next steps and measurable results.

What you’ll do:
- Own your quota and compete to win by building a healthy pipeline, prioritizing the right opportunities, and executing disciplined follow-up
- Take the initiative to create opportunities and build momentum through consistent daily prospecting and nurturing, clearly connecting NAVEX One solutions to customer priorities
- Lead focused discovery conversations that uncover customer challenges, urgency, and buying priorities
- Qualify opportunities with rigor, invest time in high-probability deals, and maintain strong pipeline hygiene
- Manage a high volume of opportunities with clear next steps, strong follow-through, and urgency throughout the sales cycle
- Use customer feedback to sharpen your message, adjust your approach, and improve win rates by demonstrating resilience and curiosity
- Partner cross-functionally to deepen customer understanding and strengthen deal execution
- Keep CRM data current and deliver accurate forecasts by continuously evaluating deal quality and next steps
What you’ll bring:
- 2+ years of quota-carrying, full-cycle B2B sales experience; SaaS experience preferred but not required
- A track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a high-volume, transactional sales environment
- Competitive drive, a hunger to win, and a self-starter mindset—you create opportunities, take ownership, and stay focused on results
- Strong prospecting and pipeline-generation skills, with the discipline and urgency to manage multiple opportunities at once
- Ability to deliver clear, compelling product demonstrations and presentations to key decision-makers
- Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce) and sales engagement platforms (Outreach, Sales Navigator)
- Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
- AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes

Our side of the deal:

- On-Target Earnings of 70,000 GBP per year. The starting pay for this role is 45,000 GBP annually; the target variable pay for this role is 45,000 GBP. Target variable pay is based on individual achievement factors and is not guaranteed.
