Join our GB Retail Transportation Team as an Account Executive on a 12-month Fixed-Term Contract Providing Maternity Leave Cover.

You will support a portfolio of Transport clients and prospects, delivering exceptional client service while contributing to retention, growth, and new business opportunities. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will develop strong sector knowledge and help provide tailored insurance and risk management solutions across Rail, Bus & Coach, Haulage & Logistics, and Transport Infrastructure clients.

The Role

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of Transport clients, acting as a trusted day-to-day contact and delivering high-quality service.
  • Support the delivery of client servicing activities, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and ongoing account management.
  • Prepare client documentation, including reports, renewal presentations, and market submissions.
  • Work closely with broking teams and insurers to support placement strategies and secure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and revenue tracking activities.
  • Identify client needs and market developments, supporting retention initiatives and account growth opportunities.
  • Contribute to new business activity by supporting opportunities to win, retain, and develop profitable Transport sector clients.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • Experience managing commercial insurance clients, ideally within the Transport sector.
  • All-Inclusive knowledge of commercial insurance products, markets, and insurance principles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering excellent service.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience working collaboratively across teams to achieve client and business objectives.
  • Strong digital literacy and confidence using systems, processes, and technology to support client delivery.
  • Degree-level education, professional insurance qualifications (e.g. ACII), or progress towards a qualification would be advantageous.
