Account Executive (Mid-Market to Enterprise) — SaaS Time Tracking Platform

Remote (UK-based)
Up to £75k base + uncapped OTE

This platform has become the tool that consultancies, agencies, and tech companies genuinely can't operate without.

It automates time tracking completely, so employees never have to log anything manually.

Here's the bit that makes it an easy sell: unlike competitors, this isn't surveillance software. It's built for employees, not over them, helping them understand their own efficiency and bill clients more accurately.

On top of that, it gives organisations anonymised insights into where they can run leaner. Good for the business, good for the people doing the work. That's a rare combination to pitch.

The Opportunity

  • You'd be joining a scale-up of around 40 people that's growing steadily and already has a sales team that's crushing its numbers.
  • The MRR target is described as "very fair," and the earning ceiling is genuinely high. Big one-off deals mean strong commission swings.
  • It's remote with real flexibility and no micro-management. You're trusted to run your own pipeline.
  • You'd come in as one of the senior sales hires, which means you're not just closing deals. You're helping shape how the team scales from here.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You'd Actually Be Doing

  • Running new business sales, closing SaaS deals averaging £5k–£500k ARR (with some going higher).
  • Splitting your time between (mostly) inbound leads and self-generated outbound, plus some expansion into existing accounts, though the bulk of the role is new logo hunting.
  • Owning the largest strategic deals in the pipeline.
  • Working to an MRR target rather than a rigid, unforgiving quota structure.

What You'll Need to Bring

  • Minimum of 2+ years in a closing SaaS new business role, ideally 3–7 years.
  • A track record of closing new business SaaS deals in the £50k–£100k+ range.
  • Has worked on and closed in and outbound deals.
  • Comfortable working remotely, whether that's already your setup or a change you're keen to make.
  • A consultative, strategic sales style. Familiarity with methodologies like MEDDIC or MEDDPICC will serve you well here.
  • Based in the UK with the right to work.
  • Stability in your career history: 2+ years in most previous roles.
  • A solid history of hitting new business SaaS quotas.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for working at a ~40-person scale-up, not just tolerance of the environment.
