About the role 💼

As an Account Executive UK, you'll own the full sales cycle in one of our most strategic markets: from spotting the opportunity to signing the deal. You'll be selling a technical SaaS product to banks, wealth managers, family offices and other financial institutions across the UK.

This is an individual contributor role reporting to our UK Country Manager. You'll be the face of Flanks in the market: building your own pipeline, running your own deals, and closing them.

What you'll do 🛠️

Here’s what you can expect to work on:

  • Own the full sales cycle end to end — prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation and close— for the UK market.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within banks, wealth managers, family offices and other financial institutions.
  • Build and maintain your own pipeline through outbound campaigns, cold calling, networking events, industry conferences and online channels.
  • Run in-depth discovery conversations to understand each prospect's business, tech stack and pain points.
  • Present and demo our platform in a compelling, consultative way, tailored to each stakeholder in the room.
  • Develop and deliver proposals, quotes and presentations that clearly articulate our value proposition and competitive advantages.
  • Negotiate and close deals that work for both the client and Flanks.
  • Conduct market research to stay on top of customer needs, industry trends and the competitive landscape in the UK.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product and Customer Success to make sure what we build and what we promise stay aligned.
  • Keep sales activity, customer interactions and deal progress accurate and up to date in our CRM.
  • Meet or exceed your sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of Flanks in the UK.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we'd love to see 😍

  • +3 years of experience in SaaS sales, ideally in a closing role where you carried your own quota.
  • A financial background, or solid experience selling to financial institutions (banks, wealth managers, asset managers, family offices). Fintech experience is a big plus.
  • Comfortable owning the full sales cycle as an individual contributor—you don't need a big machine behind you to generate pipeline.
  • Knowledge of modern sales methodologies and the ability to actually apply them.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proven track record of hitting or beating quota.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills—you can hold your own in front of senior stakeholders at large institutions.
  • Curiosity about technical products: you enjoy understanding how things work under the hood.
  • Fluent English. Other languages (French, Spanish, German…) are a plus.
  • Based in the UK, within commuting distance of London—you'll be in our Paddington office 2 days a week.
