About you.

Ever wanted to join a company that has a great product, validated and has the hunger to go after the US market. While, along the way, be part of the journey of building one of the world's leading franchise software companies?

You have a solid foundation and proven expertise in sales. And by selling, we don't mean building some automated campaigns using AI. This isn't a revops role, this isn't about building automated campaigns using AI, or tinkering with Lemlist / Instantly / AI agents. This is about following a clear, question-based process and methodology. You know how to do this and you constantly seek to improve too.

So if you're passionate about the selling trade and you can prove it - if you apply, we will want the receipts showing you are putting the hard work in.

Then read on. We put the bar high but there is a reason.

Why should you apply?

Because we have a great opportunity ahead of us. We've captured the market in France. The numbers don't lie. 400+ clients. And we are already starting to sign clients in the UK and US.

Our product is, from what our early US prospect told us, so slick and so efficient to scale a successful franchise strategy.

Key steps to your success in this role

So we've done our bit from a product and market traction point of view. And you have the opportunity to join an interesting journey.

But let's be realistic. Week 2, you'll be on the phone. Your onboarding will not focus on “how to do demos”. It will focus on how to prospect and sell. Consultatively. We're building a robust sales culture and a clear playbook asked to follow.

Don't like cold calling? Want to reinvent the wheel? This position isn't for you. Your input will be needed but we're after sales people. Not rev ops people.

So here's the goal:

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

  • In the first 3 months: you will have reached 20 first qualified first meetings.
  • With clear pain assessed we can addressed, proper qualification.
  • In the first six months: you will have signed 20 clients.
  • At the end of the first year: you will have managed to engage our first 40 new brands.

You will be expected to attend 10 industry fairs and a travel cadence of once a month is expected. While the focus is the US, the successful candidate will also be tasked with capturing our first UK clients (we expect an 80% - 20% split).

Exciting? We think so.

But it's not for the faint-hearted. This position is strategic for Cerca. Expectations are high.

If you're looking for a role where you can be on the phone, be trained in a robust manner to hone your selling skills, have a robust sales management in place and be rewarded accordingly, read on.

You will have to demonstrate that:

  • You are experienced in selling tickets averaging £25k.
  • You excel in consultative selling. Not in a demo-led approach.
  • You must be able to demonstrate success in closing deals that you have initiated from scratch.
  • Coachability. You are used to evolve in an environment where coaching is followed by you implementing the change.
  • Experience in the SaaS environment is a bonus but not mandatory.

Nothing is perfect and some of our sales values are:

  • Humility. It is what allows ambition to grow. We own our failures and we commit to progressing while celebrating success.
  • Ownership. We don't look for people to find excuses. Accountability is key. Excuse makers - it's the prospect, it's the market, it's the product, etc… - do not need apply.
  • Coachability. You will be trained. And we will very quickly need to see that you put the “Cerca way of selling in place”.
  • You are highly self-motivated, we have that fire in the belly and you must have it.
  • You will be the first boots on the ground in the UK and US. This position is remote, we're based in France. So resilience is one thing we expect and you will be managed by the CEO. If our market is enormous, these are the challenges.
