Prominence Estates is growing rapidly and we are looking for an experienced Accounts Executive to join our high-energy team in Coventry.
This is an exciting opportunity to build a long-term career within a forward-thinking and ambitious estate agency.
You do not need previous property or estate agency experience, but you must have solid experience working within an accounts-based role and be confident managing financial transactions, reconciliations and client accounts.
We are looking for someone who is organised, reliable and confident with numbers, but equally comfortable speaking with landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers.
The Role
As our Accounts Executive, you will play an important part in the day-to-day financial operation of the business and our managed property portfolio.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Daily receipting of tenant payments
- Processing landlord rent payments
- Allocating rent payments accurately
- Monitoring and chasing rent arrears
- Processing supplier and contractor invoices
- Raising invoices
- Completing bank reconciliations
- Managing and maintaining client accounts
- Using Xero for bookkeeping and VAT submissions
- Responding to account queries from landlords and tenants
- Liaising with contractors, suppliers and members of the wider team
- Ensuring financial records are accurate and kept up to date
- Supporting the wider business when required

About You
To be considered for this role, you must have previous experience working within accounts. You will also need to be:
- Confident and comfortable working with numbers
- Highly accurate, with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable handling client money
- Confident speaking with landlords, tenants, contractors and suppliers
- Able to work independently and manage your own workload
- Organised and dependable
- Positive and willing to support the wider team
- Comfortable working in a busy, fast-moving office environment

Previous experience using Xero would be beneficial, although it is not essential as training will be provided.
Previous property or estate agency experience is not required. For us, practical accounts experience, attention to detail and the right attitude are more important.

Working Hours
Monday to Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm
This is a full-time, office-based position at our Coventry office in CV3.
The proposed start date is approximately three weeks.
Salary: £27,000.00
