We are looking for a highly organised and proactive account handler to provide critical administrative and technical support across three of our dynamic client teams. You will act as a crucial link between our account executives, clients and underwriters. Your primary focus will be on supporting the full policy lifecycle, managing documents whilst ensuring a high standard of client service and regulatory compliance.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, client-facing environment who enjoys working across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

In this role you will:

  • Provide dedicated technical and administrative support across our teams, collaborating with our account executives to service portfolios.
  • Track renewals, gathering data and information to prepare market presentations and tender documentation in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Administer full policy lifecycles, including processing any new business, mid-term adjustments and renewals.
  • Negotiate with our panel of insurers to ensure they remain competitive and provide the right levels of cover for clients.
  • Issue accurate policy documentation, covering advice and invoices to clients.
  • Act as a point of contact for clients, responding to general cover queries and offering advice.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and financial transactions on Acturis.
  • Ensure full adherence to internal underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements (FCA and TCF).
  • Assist accounts with credit control, ensuring all client premiums and within agreed timescales.

What We Are Looking For

The suitable candidate for this role would bring:

  • An understanding of commercial brokering or account handling experience across multiple lines (Property, Liability, D&O, Life and Business protections).
  • An understanding of general insurance products and the commercial underwriting market.
  • Cert CII qualification; or willingness to work towards it.
  • Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to manage multiple priorities across teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Acturis.
