Insurance Administrator / Broking Support Assistant
Are you organised, customer-focused and looking to build a career within insurance? We're looking for an Insurance Administrator / Broking Support Assistant to join our team and provide essential support to our Account Handlers while delivering excellent service to our clients and insurer partners.
What You'll Be Doing
In this varied and fast-paced role, you'll support the day-to-day administration of our insurance operations, ensuring tasks are completed accurately, efficiently and in line with regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering incoming calls from clients and insurers
- Processing policy adjustments, including vehicle and driver changes
- Handling driver referrals and policy declarations
- Completing diary tasks and administrative activities
- Issuing insurance documentation and client correspondence
- Processing invoices and client refunds
- Updating customer records and insurance databases
- Supporting credit control activities and payment collections
- Liaising with insurers, finance providers and colleagues
- Managing incoming queries and providing excellent customer service
- Completing questionnaires, letters of indemnity and other documentation
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory compliance
- Keeping up to date with training, industry developments and product knowledge
- Providing cover and support for team members when required

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone who is:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and priorities
- A confident communicator with strong customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive and able to use their judgement when making decisions
- Professional and committed to delivering high standards of work
Skills & Experience
- Previous administration or insurance experience is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Good IT skills and confidence using multiple systems
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
- Experience dealing with customers and external stakeholders
- Understanding of FCA regulations and insurance processes would be advantageous
