We have a superb opportunity for an experienced Account Handler to join a very exciting professional services firm, which has its own Insurance Brokerage.
Our client offers outsourced professional services to businesses including Finance, Legal, HR, and Insurance solutions. Being partnered with a major accountancy practice, the company has an endless supply of enquiries from businesses, who are looking to have all of their professional services (including their insurance needs) catered for ‘under one roof’.
Our client’s insurance broking business is fairly new, but is a premier member of one of the UK’s leading insurance networks, and therefore has access to all major markets at extremely competitive prices. In addition, this network offers a range of services including placement assistance, marketing, and compliance.

The business is very much in growth mode, and you will be working in conjunction with a Director, who is responsible for introducing new clients, for whom you will provide quotations.
You will be offering insurance cover for a wide range of commercial insurance products, including but not limited to:
- Property
- Liability / Commercial Combined
- Motor
You will enjoy dealing with a fascinating variety of industry sectors. Given the company’s connections, there are some really interesting clients who are looking for insurance support, right from SMEs up to businesses with turnovers in the hundreds of millions of pounds. You’ll provide both new business quotations, as well as managing the insurance programmes throughout their whole policy lifecycles.
Requirements
It is essential that you have previous experience as a Commercial Account Handler, with good working knowledge of the major commercial insurance covers. Just as importantly, you’ll be well-organised and efficient, with excellent communication skills.

Work Arrangement
Our client is flexible when it comes to hybrid-working, and this position can be predominantly home-based, with the need to have a face to face team meeting, typically once a week. Having said that, you are welcome to attend the office as much as you like! Also, there is scope for either full or part-time working.
You will be rewarded with an attractive basic salary (depending on previous experience), together with a range of company benefits.
