We’re looking for an Account Handler to join us in London.
The Account Handler will support the Broking Director and Senior Broker in the administration and coordination of Liberty Blume’s global insurance programme, as well as the numerous and varied additional commercial insurance requirements of the Group operating companies.
This role is critical in ensuring efficient policy management, accurate documentation, and effective communication with internal stakeholders, clients, and insurers across multiple jurisdictions.
What will you be doing?
- Assist in the day-to-day management of the global insurance programme and other commercial insurances, including renewals, endorsements, and policy administration
- Liaise with insurance clients and carriers to obtain quotations, policy documentation, and coverage confirmations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all insurance policies, certificates, and related documentation
- Support the preparation and submission of underwriting information for renewals and new placements
- Coordinate the issuance of certificates of insurance and respond to internal and external coverage queries
- Monitor policy deadlines and ensure timely processing of renewals and adjustments
- Assist in claims administration, including notification, tracking, and documentation of claims in collaboration with clients and insurers
- Support compliance with local regulatory and contractual insurance requirements across global operations
- Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations for internal stakeholders as required
- Contribute to continuous improvement of insurance processes and systems

Essential Skills & Abilities
- Previous experience in an insurance administration or account handling role (preferably within a corporate or broker environment)
- Understanding of general insurance principles and policy structures (property, liability, etc.)
- Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced, international environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with insurance systems is an advantage
Qualifications
- Relevant insurance qualifications (e.g., CII or equivalent) or working towards certification preferred
- Educated to A-level standard or equivalent (degree desirable but not essential)
