Commercial Property Insurance Account Handler

London | Hybrid | £40,000 – £45,000 | Immediate start

Optis, a sister company of Citynet Insurance Brokers is a leading London insurance intermediary, now part of the PIB Group, which has ambitious plans for further expansion in the London market. Due to continued growth and an expanding property product portfolio, we are recruiting for a permanent, full-time position in our fast-paced Broking team. Full training will be provided, alongside a competitive salary, benefits package, and excellent opportunities for growth and development.

The successful candidate will manage an existing book of commercial property insurance for a portfolio of retail brokers, ensuring excellent service in collaboration with your Account Executive.

What you'll be doing:

  • Act as a primary day-to-day contact for allocated accounts, responding promptly to client and broker queries.
  • Prepare and issue renewal invitations, mid-term adjustments, endorsements, and cancellations in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Obtain and collate risk information from clients and Account Executives to support marketing and placement activity.
  • Prepare high-quality market presentations, submissions, and risk summaries for London Market insurers.
  • Produce and check policy documentation, cover notes, schedules, debit/credit notes, and other related documents.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Previous experience in the insurance industry, with strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise, multi-task, and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • IT proficient, particularly in Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software platforms quickly.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and confident manner on email and phone.
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team, staying flexible and effective under pressure.
  • Knowledge of the London Market placement process (Desirable).
  • Commercial property insurance experience (Desirable).
  • CII qualification (Desirable).
