The Role
We’re looking for a motivated and driven Account Handler, to join the Enhance team in our Specialist division here at Jensten Group. The main aim of the role is working in the Broking team in a client-facing role, there will be some training given for the back-office support capacity for our online portal. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, conducting market research, and helping clients navigate the complexities of Medical Malpractice insurance. After initial training on offline business, your role will be to support our online platform team – dealing with queries, changes and new business.
Relationship management is an important part of your role, and you will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and underwriters. Some key objectives & responsibilities will include:
- Have your own caseload of renewals to invite in good time, chase and bind issuing documents, whilst working with the client during the year on midterm adjustments, queries, etc. Working on the telephone and via email.
- Proactively manage the post quote follow-up and progression of both new business and renewal quotes. This includes contacting clients pre-renewal to assess their requirements and determine whether our terms meet their expectations. You will also take ownership of any remarketing or re-broking of new and renewal business as required, involving direct discussions with underwriters via phone or face-to-face meetings.
- Contribute to the Division’s income function by ensuring renewal retention exceeds divisional targets, answering incoming calls, dealing with queries, etc.
- Ensure that all work is FCA compliant and provide the highest of Customer Service to our potential and existing clients.

About You
As our Account Handler, you’ll have excellent communication and written skills with a keen eye for detail. Having a Medical Malpractice background (ideally in Aesthetics) you’ll enjoy working in a dynamic small team with a hands-on approach- and the ability to explain complex insurance products in simple terms. You will be the type of person who wants to constantly develop, and you can expect fantastic career progression, training & development within the role and Insurance Industry in general. You will also ideally have:
- Insurance background - Medical Malpractice essential, Aesthetics ideally
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., Cert CII) or working towards
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent telephone manner, being able to network & build working relationships easily
- Drive and genuine passion to learn and develop within Insurance
- Worked in a similar role previously, with experience of working with Insurers and clients
- Able to use initiative and can multi-task, updating relevant systems and admin
- Acturis systems knowledge & experience (ideally)
