Our client is a well-respected, leading and award-winning Lloyd’s Broker, with a strong presence in the Lloyd’s and international insurance markets.

This highly-reputable Lloyd's Broker offers a broad range of specialist capabilities, supporting clients and retail brokers across areas including Reinsurance, Property, Casualty, Marine, Cargo, Credit & Political Risks and Crisis Management, with a strong focus on delivering tailored solutions and building long-term client relationships.

Role

A new vacancy has now arisen for an Account Handler within their Global Facultative Division, where the successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting the smooth placement and servicing of European Facultative Property Risks, operating in a Front-End Technical capacity.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the day-to-day servicing of clients, developing a strong understanding of their requirements and helping to deliver effective (re)insurance solutions.
  • Prepare, review and maintain accurate client, policy and market documentation, including MRC Slips and Endorsements.
  • Coordinate renewal activity, ensuring key deadlines are managed and all relevant information is obtained in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of client presentations, renewal documentation and other marketing materials.
  • Work closely with Broking, Technical, Compliance and Operations teams to ensure placements are handled efficiently and accurately.
  • Maintain accurate client and policy information across internal systems and ensure records remain up to date.
  • Undertake appropriate quality and accuracy checks across documentation and placement information.
  • Develop strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities to support retention and future business development.
  • Ensure all activities are conducted in line with internal policies, procedures, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of relevant London Market, Lloyd’s and FCA requirements applicable to the role.
  • Represent the business professionally and contribute positively to its reputation and relationships across the market.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a Technical Account Handler / Broker Support role within a Lloyd’s-accredited Broker.
  • Experience handling Facultative Property Risks; Direct/Wholesale Property experience will also be considered.
  • Competent in the timely and compliant creation of MRC Slips and Endorsements.
  • Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and meet tight deadlines.
