About the Role

PIB Insurance Brokers, part of PIB Group, is a dynamic and growing insurance broker offering an excellent opportunity for someone to start/develop their career within financial services based in Halifax.

In this role, you will manage and support client relationships by contacting clients, gathering information, preparing and arranging insurance quotations. You will play a key role in delivering a professional, efficient, and friendly service to our clients.

Previous insurance experience is not essential. Some office or administrative experience would be beneficial, and full training and support will be provided.

Offering an annual salary between £25,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Determine and place suitable, competitively priced commercial insurance solutions, reviewing policy and client information to ensure appropriate cover and terms.
  • Deliver high-quality client service, advising on arrangements, handling queries efficiently, and keeping clients updated on relevant political, regulatory, and market changes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, prospects, insurers, and external specialists to maximise business opportunities and maintain a strong market profile.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify growth opportunities, proactively manage risks and issues, and ensure remedial actions are taken where needed.

What We’re Looking For

  • Willingness to learn and build a career in insurance and client servicing.
  • Strong administration skills with excellent accuracy, attention to detail, organisation, and time management, working effectively to agreed priorities.
  • Confident communicator and team player, with an inquisitive nature and a passion for building strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and willing to learn new systems.
