Account Handler – Real Estate Practice (Hybrid Role)
opan excellent opportunity to join our Real Estate team as an Account Executive based in our Ipswich office.
About the Role
This role focuses on providing outstanding client service and support to both new and existing Real Estate clients. Our team specialises in delivering innovative risk solutions for a broad range of industry players, including Property Owners, Investors, Operators, Managers, and Developers, whose portfolios span the UK and Europe.
If you thrive in a dynamic environment where no two days are alike, this position offers varied challenges and growth opportunities across the entire lifecycle of clients – from renewals to mid-term engagements.

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship & Support
- Deliver exceptional service and support to new and existing clients within the Real Estate Practice.
- Manage end-to-end client communications, handling voice and email queries from clients, brokers, and third parties.
Portfolio & Policy Management
- Provide portfolio-level cover advice across clients’ insurance programmes.
- Assist with:
- Contract reviews
- Additions and deletions of coverage
- Acquisitions and disposals
- Conduct and interpret technical analysis, supporting renewal strategies, coverage reviews, and the design of alternative insurance programmes.
Documentation & Negotiation
- Validate, manipulate, and apply data to market submissions (e.g., Market Presentations, MRCs, endorsements).
- Evaluate and negotiate renewal terms, quotations, and mid-term cover changes to ensure alignment with client needs.
- Finalise Renewal Reports and insurance summaries for clients, managing agents, tenants, and networks.

Collaboration & Market Engagement
- Attend key client and market meetings.
- Work closely with insurers and overseas networks to resolve portfolio and technical issues.
- Coordinate with other WTW divisions and offices to ensure seamless portfolio management.
Requirements & Skills
We’re seeking candidates with:
- A strong passion for client service and excellent communication skills.
- A foundational knowledge of general insurance (strong advantage) and proven administrative proficiency.
- Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
A degree or equivalent experience is preferred but not mandatory—relevant training and skills will be considered.
