Salary - up to £40,000 plus annual bonus

Surrey/ Hybrid

We are working with a specialist insurance business with over 35 years’ experience providing tailored risk solutions across hazardous and environmental sectors.

The team supports clients operating across fuels, chemicals, wastewater, environmental contracting, and fuel distribution, delivering bespoke insurance programmes covering complex and evolving risks.

This is a great opportunity to join a highly technical environment where you will gain exposure to specialist markets and develop your expertise in complex commercial insurance. NO experience in this client field is needed as full training is provided.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Commercial Account Handler to join a collaborative and fast-paced team. You will support Account Executives while also managing your own portfolio of clients, ensuring a high level of service across the full policy lifecycle. The role offers exposure to complex risks across the fuel, chemical, hazardous haulage, and environmental sectors.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
