Recruitment Consultant — Delivery (180)

Location: Portsmouth
Company: SERT (A Trading Division of Meraki 6 Limited) — Recruitment Agency
Sector: Technical & Green Energy Recruitment Services
Employment Type: Full-Time
Team: Account Management / Delivery

About SERT

SERT is a specialist recruitment business supporting the Technical and Green Energy sectors across the UK. We partner with innovative businesses and skilled professionals in fast-moving, future-focused industries, helping shape the workforce behind the energy transition and technical infrastructure markets. We're growing our Portsmouth team and are looking for ambitious, candidate-focused individuals who take real ownership of the recruitment process from brief through to placement.

The Role

As a Delivery Consultant (180), you own everything that happens once a Business Developer has won a client: understanding the brief, building the recruitment strategy, sourcing and engaging candidates, running the interview process, and managing the placement through to a successful start. This is a contract recruitment role, meaning you'll work in a dynamic, fast-moving environment where organisation, candidate care, and delivery speed are key. You'll build deep relationships with candidates, understand their needs, and match the right people to the right opportunities while working closely with the client-side Business Developer and, once a candidate is placed, handing over to the Candidate Care Team for onboarding and ongoing contractor support.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
