We are looking for a confident and driven Account Management Executive / Specialist to join our Sales team, working with customers across the PLC, SCADA and Industrial Automation sector.
This is a customer-focused role for someone who enjoys building relationships, identifying opportunities and developing accounts through a professional and consultative approach.
About The Role
- You will work with an established database of customers and prospects, initially focusing on promoting our technical training packages and solution-based offerings.
- Office-based in Knaresborough, with occasional travel to customer sites across the UK.
- Developing relationships with existing customers and prospects.
- Calling customers across the UK to understand their requirements and identify opportunities.
- Promoting and selling our technical training services and automation solutions.
- Identifying and pre-qualifying new sales opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Using a consultative approach to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Making professional B2B outbound calls and following up customer enquiries and opportunities.
- Arranging meetings and working closely with senior Sales and Account Management colleagues.
- Maintaining accurate customer, opportunity and activity information within the CRM system.
- Supporting sales and marketing campaigns and following up potential opportunities.

What we're looking for
- A confident, enthusiastic and professional approach to customer engagement.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
- A strong telephone manner and confidence making B2B outbound calls.
- A consultative approach with the ability to identify customer needs and commercial opportunities.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- The ability to manage your own workload and follow opportunities through to completion.
- A proactive, self-motivated and results-focused attitude.
- An interest in developing your knowledge of PLC, SCADA and industrial automation solutions.
- The flexibility to travel to customer sites across the UK if required.
- The ambition to develop into a more senior Account Management or Business Development position.
