Overall purpose of the job:

To achieve personal & team revenue targets To ensure that Account Management / Sales team members adhere to the Exponential-e Human Resources Policies and Procedures and maintain acceptable levels of activity and achievement

Key responsibilities for this job:

  • Management of team member activities and training to enable and support Account Managers in achieving targeted revenue and KPIs by selling new network and ICT services (Cloud, LAN, Wi-Fi, UCC & Server hardware) to existing accounts
  • Mentoring team members
  • Accurate forecasting of anticipated team sales and regular activity reporting
  • Supporting team members in working with clients’ management teams to understand particular business strategies
  • Evaluating those strategies and ensuring Exponential-e’s readiness to keep pace with the implementation of new programs, projects, or features consistent with those strategies.
  • To sell new network and ICT services (Cloud, LAN, Wi-Fi, UCC & Server hardware) to existing accounts in line with set targets.

Knowledge and experience required:

  • Experience leading a corporate sales team within the telecoms, ISP, systems integrator or carrier space
  • Great communication skills across all parts of the business
  • Knowledge of the following ICT product suites:
    • Cloud
    • LAN & Wi-Fi
    • UCC
    • Server hardware
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate technical issues to both the IT department and to the client in understandable terms
  • Able to work under pressure making timely and informed decisions to tight timescales, whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word is essential
  • Well organised and self-motivated team player
