Services include 24-hour emergency cover, specialist high-pressure water jetting, electromechanical coring, excavation and repairs, re-lining, new installations, vacuum tanker work, pumping station services, and advanced CCTV surveys. Role Description
The Account Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Romsey. The individual in this role will manage a portfolio of customer accounts, ensuring high levels of service, timely communication, and effective coordination of planned and emergency drainage and plumbing work. The Account Manager will maintain accurate records, update CRM or job-management systems, and generate basic reports on account performance and service delivery. The role also involves resolving issues, escalating complex situations when needed, supporting contract renewals, and collaborating with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth service and billing processes.
Qualifications
- Strong customer service and account management skills, including relationship building, negotiation, and issue resolution.
- Proficiency in communication, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise clearly with customers, engineers, and internal teams.
- Experience with scheduling, coordination, and using CRM or job-management software to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Basic commercial and administrative skills, such as preparing quotes, tracking jobs, and supporting invoicing and contract renewals.
- Familiarity with plumbing, drainage, or related technical services (or a willingness to learn technical concepts quickly).
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail in documentation and reporting.
- Ability to work effectively on-site in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with operations staff and field engineers.
- Previous experience in a service-based or facilities management environment is beneficial; a relevant vocational or professional qualification in business, administration, or customer service is an advantage.
