CareerSet is a remote EdTech start-up on a mission to help students get hired. We work with careers centres at 100+ universities and business schools to improve student employability.
While employers and recruiters use increasingly advanced recruitment systems, we help create a more level playing field for students and job seekers. Our tools enable them to improve and tailor their CVs, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles, practise for interviews and gain career insights. Our solutions support over one million students worldwide.
About the role
As an Account Manager, you will play an important role in driving CareerSet’s growth by managing and developing relationships with more than 100 existing customers worldwide.
You will work with leading universities and business schools, including Cambridge, LSE, Audencia, Nova SBE, RSM Erasmus and SDA Bocconi. Your role will be to build on the success of these partnerships by increasing student adoption, ensuring customers get maximum value from CareerSet, strengthening engagement and satisfaction, generating reviews and referrals, and identifying opportunities for account growth and upselling.

You will manage regular customer catch-ups, respond to marketing, administrative and operational requests, support renewals and expansion opportunities, and act as a trusted point of contact throughout the customer relationship.
About you
- Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confident presenter who enjoys building relationships and helping people
- Experience in a Software Account Manager or Career Advisor role
- Comfortable building relationships, working independently and remotely
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
What you will be doing
- Managing and developing relationships with our university and business school customers
- Running regular customer catch-ups and supporting adoption, engagement and success
- Identifying and managing renewals, upselling opportunities and account growth
- Supporting customer requests across marketing, administration, privacy and operational matters
- Maintaining customer activity, opportunities and account plans in HubSpot
- Building strong long-term relationships and helping generate reviews, referrals and case studies

Location
Your base location is flexible. However, CareerSet is currently registered as a legal entity and employer in the UK. Candidates based outside the UK would join on an independent contractor basis and invoice CareerSet monthly.
