About Brandwave
Brandwave is a sports marketing and PR agency for sports, outdoor and active lifestyle brands. We’re experts in marketing and PR and driven by a belief that sport is a catalyst for positive change on multiple levels.
With roots in the South Coast and London, we blend strategy, creativity and connectivity to raise profile, grow market share and build passionate communities for all our clients from across the sports and outdoor sector.
We’re a team who value collaboration, have an ambition to achieve more and are truly passionate about the power of movement to deliver positive results.
Our Values
- We do sport - Sport is our core value. Understanding the target market is not just a slogan, it stems from extensive physical experience and learned expertise. Our deep involvement in various sports allows us to act as trusted advisors to our clients.
- We are connected - Our global network has been actively built, curated and maintained over nearly two decades. It extends across governments, governing bodies, media, brands, athletes, events, teams, and content creators. This network not only enhances our reputation but also strengthens our campaigns and long-lasting client relationships. We encourage all our team to build their own networks and become recognised industry experts.
- We take risks - Risk-taking is essential in both sport and business. Progress and success come from pushing beyond the comfort zone and challenging industry norms. Creativity thrives on boldness, not conformity. We view risk with a positive lens.
- It’s what drives us across leadership, strategy, and creative execution. Every idea should challenge both clients and the industry, setting us apart from competitors. True impact is achieved by provoking strong reactions rather than blending in. Meaningful progress stems from embracing uncertainty and daring to be different.
- We give a sh*t - We believe sport is a powerful catalyst for positive change - physically, mentally, and socially. Beyond participation, it fosters community cohesion and promotes well-being. This commitment is reflected in charitable initiatives, pro bono work, and sustainability efforts. Ethical business practices and situational empathy towards our team and clients further reinforce these values. Our dedication to social responsibility is demonstrated through volunteer work, environmental initiatives, and ongoing contributions to organisations driving positive change through sport.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
