Overview
We hire people, not roles. This role is listed as 'Account Manager' to be as broad as possible. Our team is made up of extremely multi-talented and creative people who flourish in an environment where they can work across a wide range of disciplines. If you're commercially sharp, organised and genuinely interested in what makes brands work, we want to hear from you.
This is a step-up role. We're looking for someone who has cut their teeth in another agency as an Account Executive or Client Services Executive and is now ready for real ownership: your own client portfolio, your own numbers and a lot of autonomy.
A typical day will involve:
- Running client meetings
- Turning client objectives into briefs the production team can act on
- Reviewing work before it goes out to make sure it matches what was quoted and approved
- Spotting and acting on opportunities to grow an account
- Writing proposals and scopes of work
- Keeping our CRM up-to-date
- Being the person our clients trust to make things happen
Responsibilities
- Own the day-to-day relationship across a portfolio of retained and project clients, acting as their primary point of contact
- Retain and grow accounts, building account development plans that increase annual spend and broaden the services each client takes from us
- Run regular account reviews and quarterly sessions, identifying risk early and resolving issues before they escalate
- Optimise retainers by monitoring scope, usage and profitability, then making the case for the right structure at renewal
- Translate client objectives and briefs into clear, actionable direction for the production and creative teams
- Contribute to creative and content strategy for your accounts, developing client frameworks that give our work a coherent direction rather than a series of one-offs
- Quality control: review deliverables against the brief, the quote and the approved scope before they reach the client
- Support new business, qualifying inbound enquiries, writing proposals and estimates, and helping build and deliver pitches
- Work closely with the production team on feasibility, timings and costings so that what we sell is what we can deliver
- Maintain accurate records across our CRM and project management tools, keeping pipeline, account notes and forecasts current
- Track account performance against forecast, flagging under-delivery, scope creep or margin erosion
- Feed client insight and market context back into the wider team to sharpen how we sell and what we make
- Get on such close terms with clients that you know the names of their pets and where they've been on holiday
- Represent Névé externally at client sites, shoots, industry events and networking

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for
- Around three years' agency-side experience in client services, account management or similar, ideally in marketing, branding, social media or content
- Agency experience is essential. You'll already understand briefs, timelines, revisions and the reality of client pressure
- Commercially minded and comfortable talking about money, scope and value without flinching
- A broad skillset across client service, account management, creative and sales, rather than deep specialism in one
- Meticulous and organised, with the discipline to keep detail straight across multiple accounts at once
- Confident and credible in a room with senior clients, and able to hold a position under challenge
- Hungry. This role gives back exactly what you put in, and we want someone who finds that motivating rather than daunting
- A full UK driving license for attending client meetings and productions
