About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join our Sales Circle and take ownership of a portfolio of existing customers. You'll build strong commercial relationships, understand what matters to your customers and help them get more from working with Synergy Learning.
As you get to know your customers you'll proactively identify opportunities where we can help further. That could be another product, consultancy, development work or bringing somebody else from the business into the conversation. Success in this role comes from building trusted relationships, taking ownership and actively helping customers get more value from working with Synergy Learning.
The purpose of the role is to maximise the value, retention and growth of your customer portfolio. The role is responsible for protecting recurring revenue, delivering high renewal rates and identifying opportunities to grow existing customer accounts through additional products and services. By staying close to your customers throughout the year, you'll understand where they're trying to get to, recognise where we can add more value and bring the right people into the conversation when specialist expertise is needed.
If a positive and inclusive culture with the incredible flexibility that remote first working brings appeals to you, we just might be exactly what you are searching for!

- Build relationships with the people who influence decisions as well as those using the platform every day.
- Be somebody your customers enjoy working with and trust to give honest advice.
- Bring the right people into conversations when customers need specialist support while maintaining ownership of the overall relationship.
- Make it easy for customers to do business with Synergy Learning.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
